California Bountiful TV, the long-running lifestyle program produced by the California Farm Bureau, and its host and executive producer, Aubrey Aquino, won two TASTE Awards at the 16th annual event held this month in Beverly Hills. Aquino was named Best Producer, while California Bountiful TV earned the award for Best Green/Organic TV Program.
“It’s truly an honor to receive these awards, and I feel fortunate to be able to share and tell the many stories of California’s agriculture with a television audience,” Aquino said, adding this was the first time the show entered the TASTE Awards.
Presented by the Academy of Media Tastemakers, the TASTE Awards celebrate excellence in food, drink, fashion, design, travel and lifestyle programming.
Dan Durheim, chief operating officer of the California Farm Bureau, congratulated Aquino, videographer Brian Farinas and the entire California Bountiful TV team “for their hard work and dedication to the mission and vision” of the show.
“Thank you to the farmers, ranchers, foodies and crafters who allow us to tell their stories each episode,” he added.
TASTE Award finalists were selected from nominations submitted by a group of food and wine editors, writers, chefs, fashion journalists, television producers and others. Nominations focused on content broadcast from October 2023 through December 2024.
